Foot Pump 2016 & 2018

May 2016
The galley foot pump started to act up. Still pumped but had a new strange sucking sound. Then I noticed it was damp under the pump. Time to pull out the service kits.

July 2018
Repair time again, this time it was a combination of the big diapgram having a crack and the pivot pin on the pedal shearing in the middle. Used repair kits and scavenged the pedal and middle housing from the shower sump pump. Time to get an entire new one.

  • the valves on the in/out in the service kit are smaller. What gives? So re-used the old ones since that was not the problem.
