Haul Out at Bocas Boat Yard 2016
Out February 1, splashed the 17.
Project list was:
1. Bottom sanded down to barrier coat, repainted
2. Clean topsides and boot top
3. Repour spartite. This was a big job and is shown in its own gallery; Deck Meets Mast
4. drop and inspect rudder
5. Reshape aft rudder edge to reduce, get rid of vibration
6. Repack maxi prop
7. Install multi sensor: depth, speedo and temp.
The first 2 we hired the yard to do. The guys did a fantastic job on the bottom.
Being forewarned of the chitras (no'se'ems), we built a companion way drop cloth and borrowed a generator to keep the a/c running after the yard power shut down for the night and on days off ( saturday afternoons, Sundays and we hit a holiday, Shrove Tuesday).
