Sea of Cortez Summer Fall 2012

After scoring an AC unit, gratis, we headed to the sea. We were told it would be hot there, but better than Mazatlán and more out of the way of hurricanes. Well, true..... But it was still very hot with thunder storms and wind.

    La Paz, BCS Mexico October 2012 After a great week at Isla San Francisco and a roaring reach run back to La Paz with some friends from Vancouver, we got rain! It is part of Paul, the catagory 3 hurricane on the outside of the Baja Peninsula, and forecasted to hit land north of us in the next day or so. We should be getting about 35knots of wind, but so far only a light breeze and rain. So far so good.
    La Paz September 2012 We felt an earthquake while on the boat, it only lasted 5 seconds.
